UNIVERSITY STUDENTS
Apply for a travel scholarship to Pure Seed’s Field Day located at Pure-Seed Testing in Canby, Oregon. You will have a chance to meet professionals in the grass seed industry from around the world and build relationships/connections to help elevate your start to a career post university. See first hand the latest advancements in seed genetics and performance while learning from a panel of industry experts and influencers on the Pure Seed Field Day tour.
Pure Seed Field Day, formally known as Turf Seed, was started by Bill Rose which was the first turfgrass field day ever to occur. This will be the 37th year.
Along with Field Day, you will get to visit local grass seed production fields in the area.
All expenses will be paid for (up to $1,500) for travel to Oregon, two nights in a hotel, and three days. You will be provided the opportunity to present your research (if applicable) or present why you chose turfgrass science as your field of study at Field Day and at the Reception.
You will get to participate in the Bill Rose Memorial Golf Tournament or the golf lessons on the afternoon of the 22nd.
